Lindsey Knake MD, MS is an Assistant Professor and Associate Chief Medical Informatics Officer at the University of Iowa. Lindsey has completed a master’s in biomedical informatics at Vanderbilt and her project titled “Clinical Decision Support for Neonatal Mechanical Ventilation”, allowed her to develop, design, implement, and test a complex decision support tool to improve the use of evidence-based mechanical ventilation strategies. Lindsey’s research interest include using novel informatics tools to improve neonatal care. She is currently researching and developing a prediction model to predict neonatal extubation success.
