Rubric evaluates independence apps across eight categories: Relevance to Habit Goals, Customization & Personalization, Progress Feedback & Motivation, Skill Development for Independence, Ease of Use for Child, Engagement and Enjoyment, Integration into Daily Life, and Sharing & Parent involvement.
Table includes a descriptive analysis of how each app type supports pediatric independence. Habit trackers, health trackers, period trackers, focus apps, and study apps were evaluated on an 8-item rubric. The highest scoring app in each category is described, and other evaluated apps are listed in the far-right column.
